Briord

Briord is a rectangular wooden desk with drawer.‎ According to Rémi Bouhaniche, it was during the primary lockdown in 2020, while seeing airborne video symbolism of the Briord processing plants (Ain, France) in which Ligne Roset is based, that he had the thought : to plan a household item propelled by the scene evoked by that ethereal perspective on the Rhône and its meanderings around the Bugey mountains.‎ A reverence to wood, with lines with the light yet topsy-turvy lines of nature.‎ Here, Rémi Bouhaniche plays to the Home Office pattern, with a desk which is without a moment’s delay exquisite and useful, the smooth lines of which are delicate yet precise.‎
