About Andy
Andy is a leather armchair with armrests.‎ In 1962, reconsidering Florence Knoll’s settee from 1954, he relaxed every one of its forms, decreasing the quantity of buttons to take out the extreme squares of sewing and made the metal construction underlining the edges of its base vanish, holding just the four legs : so, he planned another homegrown settee, both sexy and refined.‎ And as a valuable refinement, he mounted the chrome plated steel legs inside the armrests both to the front and to the back, a touch which was similarly as rich when seen from the front as from the back: embeddings the leg into the armrest required more fastidious sewing and upholstery for an ideal finish.‎Andy appears to be set to be an extraordinary work of art, bearing as it does the engraving of Pierre Paulin.‎
