About Em Table
The designer and architect Jean Prouvé fostered the EM Table around 1950 for the undertaking ‘Maison Tropicale’.‎ Adhering to the style of need, even the littlest subtleties of this table are controlled by its construction.‎ The inclined legs are associated by a crossbar, showing the primary powers and stream of stresses in a manner that is commonly seen distinctly in designing structures.‎ The EM Table is accessible with table tops in solid wood, strong HPL cover or – for tops estimating 2000 or 2400 mm long – wood veneer.‎ Materials: Solid wood table top: 34 mm thick, oiled completion; normal oak, smoked oak or American walnut.‎ Base: twisted sheet steel and rounded steel, powder-covered (smooth).‎ Color choices coordinated to Standard SP chair.‎ Origin of wood: oak (Quercus robur) from Western Europe as well as Poland; American pecan (Juglans nigra) from the USA.‎ Veneer table top: 39 mm thick; regular or dull finished oak (Europe), defensive normal polish finish.‎ Base: bowed sheet steel and cylindrical steel, powder-covered (smooth).‎ Color choices coordinated to Standard SP chair.‎ HPL table top: 40 mm thick, high tension overlay surface and edges.‎ Base: bowed sheet steel and rounded steel, powder-covered (textured).‎ Color choices coordinated to Standard SP chair.‎
