For the Contract Tables, Charles and Ray Eames fostered a general base, whose structure unequivocally takes after the bases of the Soft Pad Group, while the design summons relationship with the bigger Eames Segmented Tables.‎ The Contract Tables make wonderful little gathering tables and are likewise ideal as bistro tables for both indoor and outside use.‎ They accompany a round top in a decision of two sizes or as a square model.‎ Materials: Table tops: accessible in four materials: melamine confronted white surface (25 mm) with smooth straight plastic edge in white; light or dull oak facade (Europe) (25 mm) with straight facade edge; strong center cover in white (12 mm) with dark edge; HPL (25 mm) with dark edge.‎ Base: stable platform base, four-star legs in die-cast aluminium.‎ Available in four renditions: base cleaned or chrome covered with segment in fundamental dim (RAL 9004), all chrome or all powder-covered (finished completion) in profound dark (RAL 9005) or white (RAL 9010).‎ The tallness of the base remembering screw for floats is 71 cm; the skims can be changed (max.‎ augmentation 10 mm) for evening out on lopsided floors.‎ Applications: the powder-covered base can be combined with a strong center table top for open air use.‎
