Majestic

More than just a Café, the Majestic tells the history of Oporto.‎ The Oporto of the twenties, of political gatherings and discuss of new ideas.‎ It was also the Belle Epoch period, a time of writers and artists.‎ To honor this period and this emblematic Café, Boca do Lobo designed Majestic, a modern black sideboard, highly stylish, that provides a generous amount of storage space without being too imposing.‎ It is a unique piece of furniture that lends an attractive presence to any room.‎ Four flush doors open discreetly to the interior of the piece where you will find elegant drawers and functional shelving.‎ Hand carved wood garland drapes the sideboard and functions as the doors pulls.‎ The piece is framed in particleboard, which gives the black high gloss lacquer finish its textured appearance.‎ Materials and Finishes: Mahogany, Silver Leaf in Amethyst, Nickel Plated Brass, Smoked Glass The power of color is a cool phenomenon which inspired the creation of the COOLORS collection.‎ Colors play an important role in our physical environment.‎ They are used for their aesthetics as well as their ability to influence the human psyche through the stimulation of one’s visual sense.‎ Colors induce many emotions and states of mind most of which are subjective, however some are more universal such as the ability of warm colors to create a feeling of comfort and the calming effects of cool colors.‎ By associating color sensations with our collection, we intend to stimulate emotions that allow all who come in contact with our designs the chance to identify themselves with them and bring some color into their world.‎
