About Hex Hex
Hex is a hand-woven kilim rug in 75 % wool/15 % silk/10 % other normal materials (cactus vegetable fibre).‎ Please take into account a resilience of +/ – 3 % as far as both length and width.‎Inspired by both the customary kilim, regularly developed from flat and inclining lines, and by the current realistic pattern for increasing geometric structures (stripes, polka-dabs, squares, hexagons, etc.‎), Bertjan Pot’s Hex rug unites an abundance of little kaleidoscopic triangles hued in apparently irregular fashion.‎ Their blends and changes offer a huge number of levels on which it tends to be ‘read’ geometrically: one discovers three-sided groupings of more modest triangles, precious stone shapes, trapezoids, hexagons, chevrons.‎.‎.‎ The lavishness of their geometric development, their hue and their enhancement makes these rugs so vivacious that they appear to be practically enlivened, offering an assortment of points from which they might be ‘read’, similar as the operation workmanship bits of the 1960s.‎
