About Eames
Eames Coffee Table is a square table in Carrara marble. Available in various variants. In 1949, Charles and Ray Eames planned a coffee table as a special outfitting for their own home, the unbelievable Eames House in Pacific Palisades, close to Los Angeles. Ever since, the table has added to the one of a kind stylistic theme of this memorable home interior. The rectangular table top, which gives a synchronous impression of effortlessness and extravagance, was initially shrouded in gold leaf. Its dowel-leg base is a variety of the wooden base found on the Eames Plastic Chairs. In the next years, Charles and Ray Eames delivered two a greater amount of these tables with various tops, one in marble and the other in wood. The re-version of the Eames Coffee Table, which was created by Vitra in participation with the Eames Office, brings out the soul of the mid oddball pieces: manufactured in dazzling materials, this excellent coffee table is both valuable article and utilitarian furnishing. The square or rectangular table tops are made of palisander facade, marble or strong American walnut. The base, consolidating wooden legs with metal cross-swaggers, gives a stable understructure and accentuates the downplayed polish of the Eames Coffee Table. Materials: – Table top: strong American pecan with oiled completion or Carrara marble, brushed and waxed. – Base platform: MDF board. – Base: strong debris, nectar hued or dark completion; steel bar cross swaggers, powder-covered in essential dark. – Origin of wood: debris (Fraxinus excelsior) from Western Europe as well as Poland; American pecan (Juglans nigra) from the USA.
