Asterias

ASTERIAS, a desert plant that fills in the rugged locales of Mexico, loans its name to this new plan from Patricia Urquiola.‎ A liberally estimated round table, highlighting a focal base suggestive of the cactus from which it takes its name.‎ It comprises of six bended, wedge-molded, wooden boards, applied projecting over the focal plinth.‎ The boards are 3D printed.‎ The main (160 or 180 cm) includes a rounded edge sub-separated, in the wood rendition, into four wedges that bring about a fascinating mathematical pattern.‎ The table can likewise be fitted with a reasonable frill: a focal Lazy Susan turntable, exceptionally famous in Asian countries.‎
