Isamu Noguchi’s Akari Light Sculptures are a tribute to the delicate balance between form and function, offering a unique blend of traditional Japanese artistry and contemporary design. Handcrafted with precision and care by Japanese artisans, each Akari lamp is a true work of art that illuminates both your space and your senses.

Inspired by the lightness and luminosity of traditional Japanese lanterns, the Akari Bb3-55dd floor lamp features a Japanese paper lampshade that radiates a soft, warm glow, creating a serene ambiance in any room. The name ‘akari’ itself, meaning ‘light’ in Japanese, perfectly encapsulates the essence of these exquisite light sculptures.

Crafted with meticulous attention to detail in the Ozeki studio in Gifu, each Akari lamp undergoes a labor-intensive process that involves stretching bamboo bars across wooden frames, applying washi paper strips, and folding the shade to perfection. The result is a truly unique piece that seamlessly blends art and functionality.

Add a touch of elegance and sophistication to your home with the Akari Bb3-55dd floor lamp, a true masterpiece that embodies the timeless beauty of Japanese craftsmanship.
