##### About Blog

Elevate your interior space with the exquisite Akari 16a pendant lamp from the renowned Akari light sculptures collection by Isamu Noguchi. This modern masterpiece is meticulously crafted from Japanese paper, exuding a sense of timeless elegance and sophistication.

Designed with a focus on both practicality and aesthetic appeal, the Akari Light Sculptures are a testament to Noguchi’s ingenuity and artistic vision. Each lamp is carefully handcrafted by skilled artisans in Gifu, Japan, using traditional techniques that have been passed down through generations.

The Akari 16a features a unique blend of direct and indirect light, creating a warm and inviting ambiance in any room. The delicate washi paper lampshade allows light to filter through gently, casting a soft and ethereal glow that adds a touch of tranquility to your space.

Inspired by his visit to Gifu, where he witnessed the art of paper lantern making, Noguchi chose the name ‘akari’ to symbolize both illumination and weightlessness. The result is a collection of luminaires that combine functionality with artistic flair, making them the perfect addition to any modern interior.

Whether you’re looking to enhance your living room, dining area, or workspace, the Akari 16a pendant lamp is sure to make a statement. With its striking design and impeccable craftsmanship, this light sculpture is a true work of art that will elevate your home decor to new heights.
