##### About Blog

Elevate your interior design with the Akari 10a floor lamp, a stunning addition to the Akari light sculptures collection designed by the renowned Isamu Noguchi. Crafted with Japanese paper and steel, this modern piece exudes elegance and style, perfect for those who appreciate beautiful products.

The Akari Light Sculptures, created in 1951, showcase Noguchi’s mastery in combining traditional materials with contemporary design. The name ‘akari’ itself means ‘light’ in Japanese, capturing the essence of these luminous works of art. Each lamp is meticulously handcrafted by artisans in Gifu, Japan, using the finest washi paper to create a weightless and ethereal glow.

Inspired by his visit to Gifu, where he observed the craftsmanship of paper lanterns, Noguchi’s Akari Light Sculptures feature a unique blend of form and function. The tripod design adds a touch of sophistication to the lamp, making it a statement piece in any room.

Whether placed in a living room, bedroom, or office, the Akari 10a floor lamp will instantly elevate your space with its timeless design and soft, ambient light. Bring a touch of Japanese craftsmanship and modern elegance into your home with this exquisite piece.
